Boys & Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County selected to be featured in the 2016 “A Book of Dreams”

Look for “A Book of Dreams” in The Modesto Bee on Sunday, November 20th.

Good afternoon,

Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that Boys & Girls Club of Stanislaus County has been selected as a participating agency of the 2016 A Book of Dreams. As you know, A Book of Dreams is a partnership of The Modesto Bee and Stanislaus Community Foundation to help drive local support for community-based programs during the holiday season.

Your organization will be featured in A Book of Dreams to help build community awareness and charitable contributions towards your programs. Stanislaus Community Foundation will collect community donations throughout the holiday season and award grants at a special breakfast ceremony in late January.

A Book of Dreams is slated to publish in The Modesto Bee on Sunday, November 20th, 2016. Donations will be collected online and by mail  through December 31, 2016.

We encourage you to promote A Book of Dreams as often as possible to your own stakeholders, donors, Board members, volunteers and the general community. Please post links to the A Book of Dreams from your website and social media platforms. We want to keep A Book of Dreams fresh in the minds of donors throughout the holiday giving season.

Again, congratulations and thanks for making such a positive impact in our region!

We are recreating the Club atmosphere that kids love so much, adding some hors d’oeuvres and beverages that grown ups crave, and setting the stage for business teams to go to battle on the ping pong table for championship bragging rights! This casual evening of relaxation will rejuvenate the child in you.
Funseekers can play a variety of competitive and non-competitive games and activities, or just enjoy the art display featuring work by our Club Kids.
Food and bar stations featuring flavors from across the U.S. allows you to refuel and get back into the game.
