This core area empowers youth to support and influence their Club and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self-image, participate in the democratic process and respect their own and others’ cultural identities.
Torch Clubs are chartered small-group leadership and service clubs for boys and girls between the ages of 10 through 13. . Torch Club members learn to elect officers and work together to plan and implement activities in four areas: service to Club and community; education; health and fitness; and social recreation.
This unique leadership development experience provides opportunities for young people ages 14 to 18. Youth participate, both in and out of the Club, in activities in three focus areas: academic success, career preparation and community service.
Stars of the Month
Stars of the Week recognize a youth 6 to 13 year of age for their attendance, academic and behavior performance during the week. Youth receive special recognition including a Star with their picture, a certificate, and a prize.
