Michael Gaffney

Born and raised in Modesto, Michael Gaffney has been married to his wife Victoria for 14 years. Together they have one son, Connor who is 6 years old. Michael is a third-generation employee of Pacific Gas and Electric Company where he has worked for 10 years as a Government Relations and Public Affairs Representative for Yosemite Division which includes Stanislaus, Merced, Tuolumne, and Mariposa Counties. Michael graduated from California State University, Stanislaus with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and has completed numerous supervisor/management training programs and leadership courses at PG&E.

Giving back to the community through board involvement and hands-on community service projects brings him joy, especially helping children be more than what they are and all that they can be through working with the Boys and Girls Club. His involvement in the community includes, but is not limited to: American Leadership Forum (Class Xll - Currently Underway), Modesto Chamber of Commerce (Chairman of the Board), Rotary Club of ModestoFLEX (Charter Member & Club President), Boys and Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County (Secretary), Color the Skies Guild of Valley Children’s Hospital (Member), and College Area Neighborhood Association (Supporter).

In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time outside whether it be walking, running, and biking his neighborhood with his family and 3-year-old mini Goldendoodle, Magnolia, or attending live sporting events, concerts, and wine tasting trips.
